I’m 48, overweight, with chronic back pain and until 4 months ago, I’d been pretty sedentary except for walking my dog, for the last 6-7 years.

When I met Brendan at FFF I was pretty sceptical that there was much he could do to help. I thought my days of being able to lift weights, build muscle and stretch were over, and I’d be living in pain for the rest of my life.

It turns out, Brendan is a master motivator and knew just what it was going to take to get me moving again. He took the time to understand what got me to this point, what limitations we were dealing with, and what my true motivation was for being there.

There was no pressure to train every single day as hard as possible, and the classes are small enough that I was getting the modified program and attention I needed to get the foundations right. I went from 2 visits a week up to 4-5 sessions in no time and I’m feeling great.

I’ve still got weight to lose, but the results have amazed me. I’ve lost centimetres around the waist, gained some size in my arms and thighs and changed the shape of my chest. I’ve got more energy throughout the day, even with the early starts. Best of all, I’m not needing any pain medication for my back, have almost full movement, and actually building a strong core.

It’s fun too, the classes are never crowded and it’s not too intense. Everyone is there to push themselves, but there’s no pressure to hit ‘beast mode’. Brendan has built a great team too to really complement his skills, Josh – the ‘perfect form’ general.

When I started at FFF I hadn't trained in a long time, I was suffering from back pain and was anxious and unsure about training. Brendan from the beginning was interested in understanding how he could best support me with my limited mobility.

Since training with FFF for the past 8 weeks my energy, mobility and mindset have all improved. Physically I am feeling strong and mentally I am feeling so much better too. I've made friendships and enjoy getting to see everyone during class.

She Conquered It All!

Jules' results from our previous challenge "Conquer your Summit" results were outstanding and well deserved!

Jules won female overall and our 'most gains' category.

She lost 13.5 cm & 3.1kg but had a whopping strength gain of 27.5kg on squat, 6.5kg on bench and 30kg on her Deadlift.

How good is that considering her percentage BF was reduced by 10.7%?!

All while being away for 3 weeks.
